22 December Updates

Today was our last day at Anjali House, where we organised a Games Day cum Christmas Party.

21 December Updates

On the last day of lessons at Anjali House, the Children and Youth Comm.s conducted lessons focusing on the themes of Teamwork and Choices respectively, as well as rehearsals for the Christmas Party performances on the following day.

The activities were held somewhat in the form of station games, where at each station, the Anjali youth had to make choices in various dilemmas. At the end of the entire activity, the youth were then debriefed on the choices they had made.

19 December Updates

The theme of yesterday's lessons at Anjali House was Compassion, where we taught the Anjali children the importance of giving back to their communities.

17 December Updates

Yesterday was a long but fruitful day at Anjali House. The COMMA team conducted lessons in two groups: the Children Comm. and the Youth Comm.

Children Comm
For the Children's side, our theme of the day was Christmas (The Joy of Giving). As part of the spirit of Giving, we taught the children how to make pouches, not for themselves but to be given to other children.

Youth Comm
For the Youth side, our theme of the day was Teamwork. To illustrate this concept, we held several games for the Anjali youth to let them experience the importance of teamwork, before ending with a debrief to explain the takeaways which can be gained from the games.
